About Us
Kenyan Guidance, Counselling and Psychological Association(KGCPA) is registered under section 10 of the societies Act of Kenya, in accordance with the Societies Rules of 1968 (Rule 4) and currently has 350 registered members. Professional counselors and psychologists holding Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees are eligible to register as members of the Association. Postgraduate students (Masters) of counseling and/ or psychology are also eligible for membership as student members of KGCPA as well as organizations and corporates.

The mission of KGCPA is to enhance the quality of Guidance, Counseling and Psychological services through continuing education, licensure, setting of professional standards, supervision, research, advocacy and partnership within a diverse global context.
